Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has secured a significant contract from the Oil & Natural Gas Corporation

 Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has secured a significant contract from the Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) for its Energy Hydrocarbon (LTEH) division. 

This contract, part of the eighth phase of the Pipeline Replacement Project (PRPVIII Group B), entails the engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning (EPCIC) of 129 kilometers of subsea pipelines along with related modifications across ONGC’s offshore fields on India’s west coast.



Subramanian Sarma, Whole-time Director & President – Energy at L&T, stated that the order signifies ONGC’s continued confidence in L&T, rooted in their successful track record of delivering complex offshore projects. He emphasized that this contract underscores L&T’s commitment to meeting India’s energy needs.


LTEH, organized into Offshore, Onshore EPC, Modular Fabrication, Advanced Value Engineering & Technology (AdVENT), and Offshore Wind Farm Business Groups, provides comprehensive design-to-build solutions for the hydrocarbon sector to both domestic and international clients.


The value of the significant order falls between Rs 1,000 crore and Rs 2,500 crore. L&T categorizes orders based on their value: significant (Rs 1,000 crore - Rs 2,500 crore), large (Rs 2,500 crore - Rs 5,000 crore), major (Rs 5,000 crore - Rs 7,000 crore), and mega (above Rs 7,000 crore).


L&T is a multinational corporation engaged in EPC projects, high-tech manufacturing, and services, operating in over 50 countries globally.
